"Post a picture or it never happened"I have the same heater in my 1/73.
Second from the bottom is the 4/85-7/87 US FJ60 T case shifter. The one above it is a H55F 40 series shifter.

It is possible to get the T case shifter further forward using later 70 series pieces.

Do you know which if the TC shifters shown is for a 79 fj40 (4 speed)?
I'm sure the ship has sailed on your decision to step down to a 4-speed due to the frame crossmember.... but you should check out my old build thread to see how I solved that problem when I replaced my 3FE/H42 with a 1HZ/H55.

This picture also shows the one-of-a-kind cowl vent knob, with linkage bent to avoid interference with the radio.

I seen one like these cover on an Australian site. Wasn't sure how it would work or what 70 series it from. I'm dealing with 1/79 plus and will use 10/82 and later 40 series inspection covers. I am curious how the 70 series cover fits on 73-78 transmission cover. I know there was someone making an after market transfer case shifter for the late FJ60. I am also wondering if the 8/80 and later 40 series four speed transfer case shifter would work with this set.
Hopefully this isn’t experience speaking.Just a reminder, ethylene glycol is extremely deadly to cats. A couple laps or a teaspoon will kill them. Please dispose responsibly.
Yet there is another thread on the forum that if I read correctly, seemed to be exactly that practice. It’s lethal to pretty much all animals. Dumping it on the ground is an abomination.

I make every effort to be responsible with my fluid waste, brake/ps fluid and coolant are my least favorite to deal with.
Yes, I too am curious.Curious why it was a total loss? Gear damage or rust would be most likely reasons.
Bummer, that sucks.Rust, had a bunch of water in it.
