We have a fully disassembled FJ 40 that was going to be a full frame off restorations, but do to a new job, wife wanting her garage back and my recent FJ62 purchase, just isn't going to happen. The frame and body are from a 72, both front and rear axels are from a 79 (better). It had a SBC 350 mated to the stock 3 speed stick. Removed both of those, purchased another SBC 350 with aluminum heads and tons of upgrades. Purchased a 700R4 transmission and had it completely rebuilt. Twin Shifter kit. Purchased AA Adapter to mate to stock transfer case. New front Fenders from CCOT, New rear quarter panels and rear seal (old rust panels removed, new ones need to we welded in). Have rear barn doors with latches, everything is there just needs to be put back together. All new exhaust still in the box as well as a SBC 350 rebuild kit. It didn't need it when I bought it. Was going to try and reduce the horsepower from 450 to closer to 300, because my wife and kids wanted to drive it when it was done. Completely rebuild the third members (just need the backlash and preload set). Have hub and axel rebuild kits. Cage, doors, hard top all there. TONS MORE I'm forgetting. Every FJ40 part in my garage and storage are yours. Paid 4500.00 for the motor, trans alone. Asking $6,100.00 (REDUCED). Any reasonable offer will be considered. The car is in my garage in Riverside. Email or txt me for photos. marka@harvest.org, 951-712-4211.
