These are trying to show how it sits, it hangs out just a bit too far froward on the rounded part of the apron.
Overall it is very close to working. The template is just a bit bigger than the actual turn signal and you could trim the gasket on the bottom.

If you need more information let me know

Thanks Don, It looks like the 1/4" I trimmed off the apron will prohibit the signal fitting on the apron...I may consider laying them down flat on the fender or may just recess something into the fender. I just don't see putting the big ol TS's back out there to break on a trail rig.

Just made a template...It'll work. One way or another. :D
Thank you Don for the pics and dimensions.

Glad the phots and template help out. Looking forward to seeing the results on the trail.

The tube fenders are sharp!

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy the way they turned out. I was able to keep them full length and keep most of the apron.I also saved the back inner fenderwells off the oem and tacked them in so I still have the stock mounts for coil, fuel evap, compressor, etc. This is my first work with patching thin metals. Painted yesterday and theyre going on today. TS's will be here tomorrow...I think they'll fit on the apron.

Looking good, but your garage is way to neat. You must have too much free time on your hands.

I try to make sure the :princess: stays happy and has a place to park. ;)... believe me it could be alot cleaner considering the time I have,:D

Oh, a couple shots this morning. (I finally learned how to use Sheila's camera and download pics )

Thanks Andy, It's a MetalTech kit I bought a year ago and then decided to drive to Moab and put off the project.:) This is perfect weather for hangin' out in the garage :D

Well the lights aren't oem like yours Don...but at 50 a pop it was worth a try....I did add a little gasket to the front to fill a gap where the curve of the apron starts. Certainly "Good Enough For What We're Doin' " :D...I'll move the hood latches back a couple inches, the rubber nub rests right on the corner of the light and gasket.
