Does anyone happen to know if you can pull a 70 series speedocable out of the truck from beneath instead of disconnecting it from behind the dash?

Thought I'd ask here in case someone had done this before so I wouldn't have to rifle through my downloaded FSMs.

Thanks.

Did one a few weeks back in my 73 series. You have to remove the dash fascia and disconnect it from behind with a twist and a pull.
I doubt even a very small hand wuld get behind there
Its not too hard, took about an hour all up.
Its easier if you tie a piece of wire to the old one before you remove it then tie the wire onto the new one and pull it back through the way it come out
