Any photos of rock sliders or any suggestions as to how to mount them to the frame?

Thanks

Robert VanLane

heres a snap of mine...just weld em to the frame. you'll have to move your exhaust inside the frame rail though

Nice truck

Could you get under there and pop off a couple photos?
Trying to figure out where to weld to , measurements and how far the sliders should stick out.

Thanks

Robert

this is the only shot I have handy...I would reccomend 4 points to the frame, not 3....I had 3 and it was too weak, had to add the 4th...I'll try to get som better pics tomorrow 4U

man that truck is mint, I wish I had an OEM snorkel, any ideas on how to get one?

Looks like a safari to me ;) I looked into getting an OEM snorkel. You can get the HAT in the US system I couldn't get the other parts although you can get them from japan. Problem is then you have to get an hzj airbox and the price is something like double what a safari runs.

Oh.. almost forgot. I had Christo at Slee Offroad take some measurements for sliders. I have to move the exhaust. But if you look and see how his 60, 80 and 100 series sliders are attached they are really nice. Hopefully once I can get a turbo and reroute the exhaust I'll have him build some sliders. He mentioned once he did them he would have the measurments and could be for sale.

Thanks for the photos.

Where did you get the u-bolt flip?
I like that the shock mount is in the regular spot.

The flip kit is a 60 series kit from MAF with one of bottom plates cut, flipped over and re-welded to maintain the factory shock mount position (60's have both shocks mounting on the same side of the axle)
