You prefer the porch? I bet an insurance claim could put out towards an arb or tjm like mentioned in your thread already. When I got out of high school a friend wrecked his hood on his Honda prelude. He got a carbon fiber one for free from insurance because it was cheaper than a oem new one and matching paint.

I used to have a front porch on my old hj61 and I really liked it. Good to stand on while doing engine work or tying a canoe down. Perfect to rest your tool box, stove, or ass on while putting on your boots. They are just really functional from alot of things. That said I've already done things to my arb that didn't leave much more than a scratch that the front porch wouldn't have had a chance of standing up against. I'd go for an arb over the deck myself

My $0.02

Best of luck either way

I like the funky Japanese look of the factory bumpers and agree they make a great platform to put tools on and are wonderful for picinics. Great seat for taking pics with your cruiser as you can fit quite a few people on them. They get a bad wrap sometimes because they stick out so much and aren't too practical for trail use but I still love them.

I have one from a BJ74, as I put an ARB on it. Yes it does take a lot of modifications. Are you looking for everything, ie bumper, top plates, brackets?

PM me if interested

I need all of these parts - so far I've had an offer on the bumper only, looking for someone with everything (green i NEED, orange I'd like):
