Good running 2f engine out of a 1970 fj40 Just pulled it on Friday.

Don't have to check the numbers that is not a 2F. Look like it most likely is the original engine from a 70. 2F started 1/75.

Yup your right. I was told it was swaped when I bought the 40 turns out the just the 4speed trans was swaped out of a 78...
