There's a yellow '68 FJ-40 sitting a backyard in Concord, NC, if anyone is interested. I've looked it over and it is (suprisingly) rust free. Runs and drives, but needs brakes prior to road use. Owner is now in Canada and their parents would like the Cruiser out of the yard.
Excellent basis for a complete restoration or freshen it up a little and replace the seats and tires and take it on the trail. Was purchased out of California ~5 years ago for a restoration that never took place.
The owners (not me or my family) want somewhere north of $3500 for it. Didn't pin them down exactly on price as I already have a '79 FJ40.
