Selling a black grille from my 1/1970 with good condition lenses. The grille has been painted/repainted a few times but is in excellent shape. The light housings have been modified to use LED flush-mount lights (i put amber ones in, they'd work better with the clear versions IMO) The passenger side one is mounted with sheetmetal screws, the drivers side has the original screws. Lenses are really good too.

I'd like $175 plus the ride....fair offer considered of course

OR

$120+ride and trade for a later grille without lights. Depends on condition, i'll take a really crummy one but the price will hike back up.

@SKULLYOTA

Did you have to have resistors (or whatever they're called) for the LEDs to function as signals?

Were you using as signals?

Do you know if any product that would fit in the same hole cut that functions like a dual filament bulb, capable of signal and running light?

I've slept since I last went rounds with myself over the '76s indicators, having settled on fender lights, but had always wanted to do the grille mounted, that'd function as both, 86 the fender lights, altogether.

Jist curious. At a crucial moment in the build and this seems the most elegant solution I can think of.

I had them as running lights. I had turn signals in the front bumper I had too. At one point i had both together and the flash speed was ok I think they make a flasher for LED signals you can get from a place like Waytek.

the sockets were rusted to the original bulbs and i cut them out and mounted the LED's because I'd seen a thread on pirate4x4 where they used two of those lights in the housing (obtaining both turn and running)

Leaving the second storage bay, now, not finding anything in the first, yesterday.

To my dismay, the only good grille I have is for the '72. The '71s that I thought was here was donated with the '71 chassis, and the other is junk, with a crease dead center and a nice bend to go with it.

Appears this will be a straight purchase, so if you'll message address, I'll get funds sent.

Ships to 74132, if that matters.
