Looks familiar, and kinda weird.

big side windows blanked out, rear drivers side door welded shut...( I assume)

Be interesting to see interior shots, maybe there'd be a hint to why all that was done.

With the LV you pull the handle in the tailgate and the first thing that happens is the top window section pops out. You lift and lock then pull the handle the rest of the way and drop the bottom tailgate. Pretty cool how they operate.

Ah yes, I see the line now, I'd thought the joint between hatch and gate was lower, like down around the handle..

Still weird on the drivers side tho...
