Just an FYI. There is a FJ62 in the Wadsworth Pick and Pull. Hubs/Axles/Knuckles missing. Most engine parts there. Not much in the way of any good body panels. Springs look ok if you're looking to do a SOA. Interior is ok at best.

Also, a 1988 FJ62 at Auto Parts City in Waukegan on Washington just east of Rt. 41. The hub faces are gone, but the rest are there on both sides. Also there is a mini truck or two on the lot -- one has complete IFS hubs so those faces might work with the 62s (not sure). The rest of the 62 body is fair. Rt side power mirror looks good. Driver's side is trash. Interior and dash look to be intact and in good shape. Engine looked relatively untouched.

IFS locking hubs will not work on solid axle

Spline part is different & they are shorter
Wont engage properly, even if you change the guts

Just requires the longfield chromoly hub gear. (cheap) SA hubs are becoming scarce and the IFS hubs are pretty much what people are using now.

I did not know they had a part for that

I stand corrected

I sometimes stand like a male model

I stand for peace & happiness

Some find me outstanding in my field

And at times I'm out standing in my field

I have even taken a stand

But I had to give it back
