My 62 doesn't produce much road or engine noise- at least compared to what I've driven in the past. At highway speeds there is some wind noise that seems to be coming from an area around the bottom of the windows on the driver and passenger sides. This vehicle was a salvage title but the panels seem to fit fine and so does the weatherstripping. Any ideas? Thanks

I think my 62 has the same noise your talking about. Mine isn't too bad, although, I could just be used to it. Only happens when I'm at highway cruising speeds or such. I don't think its a real problem... :-\

often the rubber window rubbers will slide down into the door.......make the windows rattle and some wind noise.

Thanks guys. I replaced the driver weatherstripping for naught. I think Landpimp may have set me on the right track. The rubbers on all of the windows look like they've seen better days.

In case anyone else runs into this problem and is just as unobservant as I have been, the problem has finally been identifed (I think). It is the weatherstripping after all. Specifially, it's the rubber that the windows slide in and out of. Both of my fronts have shrunk and migrated up the frame about an inch away from the lttle triangle piece in the front bottom corner. Finally figured it out after looking at another parked 62. Replacing the window rubbers at the bottom of the windows was a good idea anyway, and it provided an opportunity for lubing the window tracks. They're working mo betta now.
