For Sale 62 mercury for sale

I am posting this for a buddie of mine.

62 mercury comet, Some damage on passenger side, not bad. Has all parts needed to convert to a v8. 8inch posi rear end (installed), front spindles, a arms. All power searing parts to add power steering, pump, radiator, power assist linkage. He has a ton of extra parts, all chrome, and is a complete car, with many extras. This is a solid project, and rust free. He picked up a 68 cyclone and would rather build that. You can call Lee at 209-631-1701. The car is in Atwater CA, and he is asking $700 obo

If it were there would be nothing left of it but a pile of rust. Give Lee a call if you're interested. He is pretty flexible, and he is more concerned with it going to a good home than getting his asking price (I'll never tell you how low though, It's a steal). I'm sure he will put it on a truck for you.

It ran really good when it was parked a couple years ago. When he took out the 4 lug rear end, and put in the 5 lug, 8inch posi, the drive line was not put back in. As a result it sat for several years. But mechanically it is good (from what Lee says) and with a little work would run again. I know when he first got it, he drove it all over town, seemed ok to me.
