62 compressor on 60

Would a 62 compressor work on a 60 without modification?

one has a slightly smaller diameter pulley, so if you buy the 62 belt, you should be good. the 60 one is barely too long. but no mods...

Is it cost effective to have a compressor rebuilt or is that not a real option?

had one rebuilt and it took a s4!t within weeks, had another one on another truck rebuilt (different shop) and it works fine...research your rebuilder.
