Hi all, After suspending my cruiser search a few years back, I'm back on the bandwagon. This time, I have full approval from the Mrs. I'm looking for a lightly mod-ed, or stock 62, 80, or 100 series rig near Central Arkansas. This will be my DD for now... with upgrades/mods to come in the future. I'd look at a 60, but my wife will have to back it out of the drive on occasion and her + manual tranny = disaster. I'd prefer a clean, low mileage rig... but who wouldn't
? Lockers would be a plus. My budget is $15k, but that would be primarily for a 100 series. I'd max out at about $8k for an 80/62. What say ye?
2nd item... I have a lead on a '97 80 with only 110k on the clock. It DOES have lockers and is very clean/stock. Shockingly, the green paint is still impecable. Only known problems are the front seat gears being worn and of course, the antenna motor. It looks and drives great. Current asking price is $8k. This is not a bad price, but what would you offer?
