Wanted 61040 Head needed

Title says it all.
Head will go straight to the machine shop. Just ask that it has no cracks and has not been resurfaced already.

Is that a 80- 2f head? If so i got one but no idea on condition. Getting white smoke so i assume the gasket is blown at the least. I have no history on truck and have not removed head/motor yet.

61040 casting is the 81-later closed chamber head. Used on 2F & 3F.

Getting hard to find used & uncracked. Sorry, I have none available.

I've got a just reconditioned head off a 77 Fj 40.

Durango, check the casting part # on the top of the head. Yours should be a 61030 or 61031. If so, it's not interchangeable with the later 61040 head.

It has been exposed and is surface-rusty, but looks usable
