My CJ5 came with a late model Land Cruiser starter, I just rebuilt the engine, upgraded to Weber 38 DGAS, Weber fuel pump. Having trouble figuring out which pole on the starter solenoid can be used to trigger 3 prong oil pressure switch and relay to fuel pump + using this diagram: Electric Fuel Pump: How to Do It Right - http://www.how-to-build-hotrods.com/electric-fuel-pump.html
Per my attached diagram, I have OEM IGN Start (light blue) to the left pole to energize solenoid, this is not a constant 12v once engine is running.
I tested the right pole, reading 130-150v DC?
The bottom pole, which I think is to starter motor, reads fluctuating low volt, but never constant 12-14v
Obviously only the center pole reads 14v as attached to BATT/charging system
I tried swapping I and P just to test, doesn't work. Which tells me the S-starter isn't getting the switched 12v to complete the 3 prong switches circuit, and unsure which of the poles on the solenoid is to be used.
