I have an 03 UZJ100 with 60k miles, purchased used at 35k. I have searched and used the FAQ section, but cannot figure out what I should be replacing. I read the recent 90k service thread. Should I do all of that? Should I have replaced the trans fluid, transfer case fluid, and diff fluid already? So far all I have been doing is running synthetic in the engine...

Thanks in advance!:bounce:

The FAQ should have led you to this

Toyota Scheduled Maintenance Guide - Landcruiser 60K

Just go back through the previous recommended service intervals using the "back" link and do any services that you may have missed.

The most commonly missed required services are the wheel bearing repack and the drive shaft lube/propeller shaft lube and re-torque.

I believe Toyota says to inspect the Trans,Transfer and diff fluids and replace on a failed inspection rather than giving a milage. The severe service schedule does say to replace at 60k and most board members would recommend it I'm sure. Very easy and pretty cheap even with synthetics.

You don't need to do the whole 90k maintence and even with just oil changes I am sure your LC is doing just fine so don't worry.

Most of us here "overmaintain" our trucks but if your truck doesn't see "severe duty" then you probably don't need to do too much.

I think the diff fluids should be replaced at 30k intervals, according to the OM.

As noted, this is an easy/cheap one to assure longevity of expensive components (diffs / tcase). I'd do it at 60k too.

One thing to keep up on is the parking brake cable and mechanism located on the rear axle. At 94k here in Ohio the aluminum parts have become stuck and need to be disassembled greased and so forth. Very commom in the rust belt areas.
