Ok, I found an '88 62 for close to nothing. The body and frame are in excellent shape, interior is good, engine is shot. At the same time I have an '84 60 where the body and the frame are almost non existant. I rebuild the engine last year and it is strong. I'm definetly getting the 62 but I don't know what to do about the engine. Should I drop the 2f in the 62? Should I rebuild the 3f? Should I use the 2f block with the 3f head for the fuel injection? I don't like automatic so I definetely will be changing the transmission to a 5 speed. What would you guys do?

Thanks,
Nick

You have a great opportunity to have the best of both worlds. If it were me I'd mate the re-built 2F bottom end to the fuel injected head of the 3FE and the 5 spd non USA tranny.... sweet combination.

I was leaning towards that. I read somewhere in this forum a post where someone had done that and it sounded like a good idea to me. I just wanted to get as much input as possible on the pros and cons of doing this.

I have it sitting on my kitchen table and I haven't had time to read it yet. I think a long bathroom brake is in order tonight.
