These work fine if you want to switch the connector housing and transfer the little black filter thing over.

They won't know the difference if you switch the components I mentioned.. It even bolts up the same way. I have it on mine and I'm in Los Angeles. You're being too anal about this. Most smog techs don't know a Land Cruiser from a Land Rover.
EVEN if lightening strikes and the tech knows what he's looking at just tell them that's the replacement from Toyota that's superceded to a new part #. That's very common, and it's an OE part!
But if you want to pay $50 for a 35 year old used one that may or may not work, that's up to you.
