Up for sale is my wonderful, much loved 1986 60 series sahara with the mighty
12H-T direct injection factory turbo diesel engine.
She's done 293000klms and is in excellent condition.
I bought this clean, rust free beauty for the 'Big trip.'
After our first short trip, the wife won't have it, so I've had to organise a
different vehicle.
No expense spared on this restoration over the past 18 months.
Over $30000 spent, some of the work done in the last 15000klms listed below:
- Reconditioned engine including reconditioned head, reinforced
pistons,
reconditioned and high flowed turbo, new oil pump drive
- Rebuilt injectors
- Checked and recalibrated injector pump
- Reconditioned 'Wholesale Autos' automatic transmission with billet torque
converter, 'nomad' valve body with 3rd and 4th gear lockup,
strengthened output shaft and large fluid cooler
- New 80 amp alternator
- New front diff inc thrust washers, CV washers and pads, wheel bearings
- New rear diff inc new TJM Pro Locker, wheel bearings
- New OME setup inc springs, nitrcharger sport shocks, shackles, bushes, pins,
steering stabiliser

It makes 94.7Kw at the wheels, is set to 12PSI boost and uses approx
12ltr/100klms for regular town driving.
Just had a new windscreen fitted and the car will be supplied with a RWC.
