I usually like to search here and on the internet but today no luck on what I'm wanting to find.

Really want to pick up a set of wheels and tires (newer 5x150 pattern to the older FJ40 6 lug pattern).

I went on some Tundra forums and looked all over and couldn't find anyone that made any. I found one company in an old Tundra forum that went the opposite way and sure enough the link and website didn't work anymore.

I'm about ready to call up the machine shop back home and have them put something together for me. Sadly will probably cost more at that time than it is worth.

Surely someone out here has come up with something!!! Maybe not.

You can buy wheel spacers that do the conversion also. Not sure what all the convert from and to but I have seen them from 6 to 5 lug and vice versa, but like with any wheel spacers you have added more lugs nuts as a week pint and you need to keep them tight and retighten them at first.

I re-read my post and see the confusion. Happens often, hooked on PHONIX and making sense were never my strong point.

I have a 1973 FJ40 and I want to put on the 16" rims with the 5x150 lug pattern that profitts cruisers has for sale on here. It is exactly what I'm looking for...minus the fact that they are not the 6x5.5 lug pattern that I have on my FJ40.

I posted the 6x??? because I don't see any adapters on any sites that go from 5 to 6 lug. I know someone has to make them. I know it is harder to do this and it is like adding a considerable spacer but it may just work for me depending on what is out there (short of ordering new axle shafts which is not in the equation for this build).

The adapters you want are 50 a piece and are a two piece bolt together design that personally is very spooky since you are adding two more points of failure and I didn't feel confident with the manufacture I found for them. Google 5x150 to 6x5.5 adapter, should pop up but I seriously do not reccomend them.
