I need rear springs. Right now I have 4" lift SUA springs on the rear and the drivers side is about 2" lower than the pass side and the tilt is making my wife nuts therefore it's driving me nuts.

The truck is set up for spring over with perches already in place.

I need either 4" lift springs for SUA or flat stock springs for SOA.

Don't really care at this point but would prefer the flat ones for SOA.

PM me with whatever you gots!

Located in Millis, MA. Please only respond if you're willing to help ship them Greyhound.

Thanks!
John

can anyone point me in a good direction anyway? Seems crazy to pay for 0" lift alcans!!

I have more stuff to do on the truck than expected so te budget is stretched. $500 for 2 alcan springs or less than half that for used including shipping. Will get better springs down the road. have all sorts of welding that I need done that wasn't expected.....just as the springs weren't expected either.

Greyhound is way cheap and I'm trying to conserve cash. I shipped a pair of seats to NJ for $80 once when Fedex wanted $440 and UPS wanted $320. Spings should cost less than $50 to ship anywhere in the lower 48

i hear ya, wasnt meaning to compare, just pointing out how it doesnt need to be crazy to spend money on zero lift springs to get some improvements other than just lift. my budget is tight too, otherwise i'd be spending money on just that, and then i'd have a set of springs to send you.

Good points. Believe me if I had the spare cash I'd get new springs on all 4 corners. That's certainly in the cards down the road.

It's already set up for a SOA. OEM springs will cost as much as re-arching. The springs on the truck are wrong anyway as they are for a 45 pickup. The axle needs to be moved back 1-2" and the OEM springs will fix that issue as well. Plus the shackle angle on the existing springs is horrible and very jolty

oh wow 45 springs, thats wierd. arent the 45 springs way long? are you going to have to move the shackle hanger? if you do mines still in the stock position, feel free to hit me up for a measurement.

Still lookin' for those springs? I'm In Cali, but will do some leg work to get them on a bus. Didn't you see a pig for part out? I need both sun visors and the clip that attatches to the mirror..... and seat belts..... and the factory floor rubbers.....I like to trade. PM me.

Still haven't figgered out the spring situation. That parts pig has junk springs and is sitting in dirt in the woods. No time to go down there and strip parts even.

Would like some but springs are down the list as I have found some new problems that need a fixin first. I can live with the horrible ride and the sag for now. If a set comes up then I'll likely grab them.

Need rear springs only

got your rear springs. What are your new problems? The springs aren't going anywhere soon. Just let me know when you come back around to those.

crossmembers are rusted worse than expected, drag link and steering is shot, and the clutch is ready to fail. Would like springs but even if I get them now, I wouldn't be installing them for a while anyway

No sweat, man
I've got a manual steering box out of my 77 55, unknown era mini truck PS box, 2 saginaw pumps that I'll never use, a minitruck steering column and a slightly bent relay rod. The manual steering gear wants to be re-built, but probably is still useable (swapped out the ms box for a $$$ re-built unit and still had that freeplay till I bit the bullet and got 4 matching new tires....what a difference.).
