5.7 tapping sound

I know this has been covered but anyone know if switching to 5w30 quiets it down? 2010 lx570 with 230k on it. I've had the noise unchanged since I bought it with 120k
I'm assuming whatever this noise is not important as it hasn't done any damage.

I skipped right on past 5w-30 and went to 10w-30.

The car is happier and so am I.

I switched to this and it quieted down my ticks

I switched to 5w30, I think it went down. but what really took it down was changing the transmission fluid.

I changed out the internal transmission screen, but if you have any signs of rust on your truck, I'd advise against it. It's a nightmare getting out broken bolts...
