crazy question as i sit here with too much time on my hands. i know lexus is supposed to be coming out with the lx570, but has anyone put the new 5.7 in an existing cruiser? just curious.

I have a 5.7 L in my FJ40, except it's a Chevy, not Toyota. The 5.7 toyotas are too new to be showing up in junkyards, and I suspect they would be too pricey to buy new wih all the harnesses and CPU's. Give it some time and I'm sure someone here will have done it.
Just made a 1500 mile round trip in one of the new 5.7 Tundras. Nice smooth power. Sounded kina NASCAR-ish when I floored it.
