I might be ordering a 4x4 Labs rear bumper and wanted to know if anyone else was interested in grouping our shipping or maybe getting a group discount. Let me know. I might be ordering in the next week or so.

Luke is a one man show, so sometimes it takes him a while to get back to you with emails. He does answer his phone though.

I heard back from Luke this morning. Here are the prices and timeline.

Shipping is about $200

Right now we are backed up about 3 weeks. I get a $750 deposit to get into the queue.

the prices for everything are as follows. You can put parts and options together and add it up. If you have any other questions feel free to call or email.

I was planning on doing a DIY basic kit and the tire carrier kit. I already have 2 spindles from iron pig, I was hoping I could just use them to save some money.

Just called luke, and said we would save on shipping if we order together.

I could use a couple of D-ring points...

My budget says that I'm probably going to order the DIY kit. Did Luke say something about there being a 3 week wait for DIY kits, too?

Yes, I should be there tonight. I plan on getting a dual swing-arm DIY kit with the tire carrier kit and 3 jerry can basket kit.

Yes, I have a bumper on the 80 that was made by Iron Pig several years ago.

Remind me about the idea I have about carring jerry cans. I would like to see what you think about it.

On long trips, I have actually used the 3-can basket to carry a small Action Packer filled with stuff.

The only time I've had 3 jerry cans back there was on my New Mexico trip last year.

OK, looks like I have the cash for the DIY kit. Other than Guthrie, who else is ready to order?

When are you ordering?

Still trying to decide...would go with the DIY kit too.

Soon. You could just order the basic bumper and one swing-out. That will make it more affordable. I just have never seen how it's set up.
