With all the new 4x4 EV’s coming out or already on the market. I’m worried about what to do if one catches fire in the wilderness. How are you going to put it out? It takes about 500 gallons to put out a car fire that has a combustible engine. It takes about 20,000 gallons of water to put out a Tesla fire.

Same as if one burns on the street… stay well back and watch it burn.

In reality I’d think it is far more likely that our old trucks with liquid fuel are going to catch fire… but that’s just me.

I agree our old trucks are more likely to catch fire but it takes only 1 idiot in a Hummer EV and then…

More like go to the woods to die.

“Katainen handed his 2013 Tesla Model S over to Pommijätkät, a group of explosion experts on YouTube who loves to make things go “boom,” after he was quoted $22,600 for a battery replacement. “Well when I bought that Tesla, the first 1,500km [932 miles] were nice,” Katainen recounted. “Then, error codes hit.” After Katainen brought his Tesla to a mechanic, he found out that the only way to fix the car would be to replace the entire battery pack, which would cost him at least 20,000€, or around $22,600.”

Holly FAK What a useless tread. Fear all my friends.

Hope nobody gets offended by me saying "Merry Christmas" instead of happy holidays. lmao!

Well since we're on the Tesla topic... apparently they do have something very much in common with our old cruisers ..lol

It’s only a rusted impact bar. They are found in vehicles as little as 5 years old (or so it’s reported). Not like it’ll impact drivability… only safety.
