Hey everyone,

I recently picked up an HZJ77, and I've been trying to fix all the issues that come along with buying an older vehicle. One of the first things I wanted to replace was the stock suspension, which rides rough right now and leans pretty badly to the left.

I wanted to see everyone's opinion on 4x4 Engineering suspension kit. Being stationed in Okinawa, I don't have much of options for suspension kits available to me. I'm not looking to go off-roading or anything, I just wanted to make the ride a bit more comfortable.

Hi @tomkun and welcome to Mud, your new home! :flipoff2:

Unfortunately never heard of them. Do they are a JDM business only?
However, the fact that this is a Japanese company with a long history, can guarantee a quality product.

PS. For the rest of us, 40-Series owners, found this:

I believe they only made parts of Jdm vehicles, I know they’re the company that makes Bradley V rims.

Hi Mate, one thing I've always liked with a suspension kit is greaseable shackles and pins, it stops them rusting and chewing out the bushes and gives lubrication for better movement and reduces binding, I'm also quite keen on anti inversion shackles but thats more for an offroad truck than an on road truck application, Good Luck with the HZJ77 :p

My ‘92 HZJ73 came from Japan with the 4x4 Engineering springs and shackles. I’ve not anything to compare against, but for you they are local 😃
