Bill from 4WheelParts in Tacoma called me tonight and asked if we would like to be the sponsored club to help them out with a marketing event. Once or twice a year they have a huge sale where they close the front parking lot bring in the girls to wash our rigs in bikini's, pull out the RTI ramp, fire up the BBQ, air up the bounce house(s) for the kids, invite a monster truck or two and have a couple of rock crawlin' buggies around for the day.

He would like our club to show up around 8:00AM and stay until 7:00PM (we could schedule some shifts), show off our rigs, maybe run the RTI ramp for him and use the time for public exposure to our club and maybe have the chance to invite some folks to join us.

I will print out a bunch of SSC (who are we) handouts for the event. I will try to post more details tomorrow after I have a chance to speak with Bill again.

I'm in for first thing in the AM until about 10AM and then will return with my family after lunch to hang out for the rest of the day, anyone care to join me?

I may be working, I won't know untill it gets closer to the date. I'll have to let you know as it comes closer, so don't count on me...

I usually take Farron to the Gathering of the War birds at the Olympic Air Show here in Olympia (they are having WWII bomber rides this year). We could come up for part of the day though. If Wendy wants to go maybe we will do the Air Show Sunday (she works Saturday). We couldn't stay till the end, but maybe a good part of the day.

Looks like we are doing the air show sunday (fathers day) so I can be there for some time in the morning and evening. If I can get the inlaws to watch Farron I could be there all day.

Brian, are you getting enough response that would can properly represent the club and help out Four Wheel Parts?

Yes I believe so, I am in San Jose, CA this week for some training so I haven't had a chance to touch base with Bill yet. I should have time tomorrow.

Update -

The actual event is from 9AM to 5PM but Bill would like a few of us there early to setup and prepare to run the RTI ramp.

Q-Country Radio will be there with the Q-Country girls!

He is also looking at having a live band or two there for the day as well.

Check out that flex :D,

I forget the number, but my winch mount/bumper extension does limit approach angle.
