Heya Woody,

Saw and love the Overland Journal sticky; I have been truly honored and grateful to have Scott work with 4WD Toyota Owner from its inception! I had an idea that we could have a full "Publisher's" section of Mud or a sticky section here so people like Scott at OJ, 4WD Toyota Owner, and whomever can have a permament presence to list doings, events, expeditions and the like, as well as take and post feedback.

For example, 4WD Toyota Owner is in the middle of a fascinating three-part story on a Dutch youth who flew to Australia, bought an HJ60 Land Cruiser and spent a year driving the outback. The 60 is bare bones, no winch or lockers, just a dude behind the wheel. Half the time I think he's going to end up like Chris McCandless! We also have an unreal trip through South America, a solo Tacoma across the USA, etc etc.

It'd be cool to have a sticky resource. Thanks Brian!

Mister Z,

Thanks for covering and supporting Surf N Turf! The photos and article on Dave's Land Cruiser Motorhome were great!

I'm looking forward to more interesting cruisers and stories this year!

you guys are welcome to attend the 45 run next weekend. i know it's short notice......

I want to Thank 4WD Toyota Magazine for publishing my California to Iowa story. So many people came together to make my dream trip happen. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to meet and make friends with so many Toyota Owners. Again Thank You Rob

Great story Rob, thank YOU! More to come too!

A beaut of a new cover: V8 turbo diesel VDJ76 Land Cruiser built for global excursions with dual everything, manual hubs, LR tanks, etc oh and did I mention the V8TD? :D Plus Ben's 1994 FZJ80 Land Cruiser expedition build--we just outfitted Ben's 80-series with Metal Tech bumper and sliders to complement the Serengeti tent and Front Runner rack from last issue.

What else? Did an install jam where we put Aussie Lockers in a 1970 FJ40 and a 1984 pickup and clocked it.

Killer piece on rebuilding a Warn 8274, with the guys over at Warn leading it. Augie and Ron are masters!

FJ Cruiser Skyjacker lift, Africa expedition part III, Land Cruisers in Iraq and Afghanistan, 4Runner solid axle lift, Aussie high-speed outback wheeling, 1971 FJ40 spotlight (The Silver Surfer). And lots more. Cheers!
