Folks,

Tried to use my 4wd today for the first time since I had some seals replaced on my transfer case/transmission.

Put it in neutral and switched to 4wd. The 4wd light started flashing. Tried driving forward waiting for flashing to stop but it just kept flashing. Went into reverse and same thing. It seems like the transfer case is engaging, but the 4wd light is flashing and the 4wd is not working.

Also, when I turn my VSC off (VSC light off light turns on) it doesn't stop the Sequoia from making that harsh noise like it does when VSC is on.

I called the place who replaced the seals and they are not being overly helpful...

Any ideas as to what to do here? Tests? Checks? Is there a way to reset the 4wd so the light stops flashing? I pulled codes but no CEL.

Thanks,
Jonny

Did the shop forget to plug in a harness that runs the actuator for the 4wd? Or maybe the actuator is failing to do its job?

Well, turns out the vacuum line was split :whoops: So that was replaced and now I have 4wd again :steer:

Thank you for your response.
Jonny
