I agree the 390's may be better for a dd. And the front diff. is a pain in the ass, not really that difficult it's just time consuming.

nah, LC's up til 97 were all 9.5's, except for the front hi-pinion 8" in the 80 series, and you cant use those in a rear axle.

97 has brand new stock yokohama's. The 88 had 33x12.5 pep boy's. (wider should hurt in this situation.)
