I think im gonna just do the 3.90's. I do find it hard to believe that noone on yotatech wants to trade me a 3.90 for my 4.10....i figured they would be all over that.

I doubt the fjc is the same as the 8"....Todd says its known as a weak point, that doesnt sound like an 8" even behind the 4.0. Though I cant imagine them using something smaller. If it is an 8" I bet its a taco/tundra/t100 8" which has a different bolt pattern and carrier girdles....but again...thats even stronger than the normal 8". Bottom line...search bitch!

I take it a 3:90 from a LC would be a no go?
I only ask cuz that is what I have to offer at a super dooper friend of gappy discount...you know...a jack n coke.
I have the front and rear from my PO.

nah, LC's up til 97 were all 9.5's, except for the front hi-pinion 8" in the 80 series, and you cant use those in a rear axle.

alright then.....how bout just a jack n coke?

What the f'hell you got 2 different gear ratios for........why'd you do that?

I didnt the PO must have.

Only its 4.10 in the front, 3.90's in the back....which makes sense now...wish I knew that before I bought the 3.90 rear though. Oh well.

Yeah my tires all spin at the speed....what a difference. They are all spinning at 24.4% of the speed of the drive shaft. :flipoff2:

Now if I can only figure out why the truck sucks balls in the snow, then I can get some good use out the 4wd.

97 has brand new stock yokohama's. The 88 had 33x12.5 pep boy's. (wider should hurt in this situation.)
