I broke the black plastic housing of the keyless entry fob for my 98 4Runner.

I don't even know that it is OEM.

What's the hot ticket for how to replace this?

Bummer. I broke my master key years ago in the same place. Guess where the weak link is! Hope you find some info. I was looking for an OEM alarm system for my 97 but turns out its no longer produced. May be something you have to hold together with superglue and duct tape until a replacement comes along on auction sources.

I've got some JB Weld setting up right now. I can reconstruct the corner that broke out, then drill a hole in it to last while I look for another.

I had Gorilla tape wrapped around my key - which in full credit to the product - lasted another five years before it finally split again, after which I just gave up and tossed it. So if someone wants to steal my Tacoma, you can find a spare key to it in the Atlanta landfill somewhere - get crackin'. Anyway, that Gorilla tape is some tough s***, man.

Fancy pants with your keyless entry. Merry Christmas! :D
