nice pic ob the new mag, Im wondering about the description of it on the inside page "Coastal Crusiers members biodiesel powered 1981 BJ42"

so is he running it off of resteraunt old grease trap oil, or veg oil or what. Thats cool I've always been interested in that idea. The guy that invented the diesel engine ran it off of hemp oil i think. People always slag the diesel for polluting but it can be run off such clean fuel, they should have done an article on that truck.
 
I believe it runs on a combination of diesel and surplus restaurant type grease. Griesel.

Sounds like a truck stop blue plate special. I'm game:)
 
Deny's truck is actually running the the catalyst type of biodiesel where you use vegetable oil, methanol and lye. Cost approximated at around $0.30/L.
