So I have seen this thing thing for quite awhile. I called the guy and had a pretty good talk. So it has been flooded before to what extent I don't know. Salvage title. Interested in calling the company of which he speaks. But I'm sure it has a few other problems. He did mention something about the air bag light on.

Anyone gone and seen this thing. If he is really taking the best off I bet since he hasn't had any in months maybe I can beat Steve :)

I just bought it :grinpimp:

Nah i'm just messing with you. Check it out if it looks good offer $5500 and go from there. As long as he has docs for the work done it should be good.

No that is that is not what I meant. I mean maybe the guy will take 2899 and I can get a good deal :). He said best offer  I think the first time I saw this thing was over 2 months ago. Something is really wrong with it or the guy is not trustworthy when people talk to him..or it looks worse in person. I mean a 120K 40th it is priced about right. But that is if it was taken to the dealer for service, stored inside, had HG replaced, front end rebuilt, tires that werent completely bald, and no salvaged title from a flood.

It couldn't hurt to offer.

Ive talked to the guy and steve has seen it. Im just leary of flood vehicles. He said it got to the bottom of the door, but who knows how long it sat like that.

Still, pull some junk yard electronics and go through all the connections before they fail, and its a good looking ride. Get a list of the "refurbishments" items.

Jason, we didn't spend much time looking at the truck because we knew immediately it wasn't something we would want. It was packed full of junk like it was a storage unit and weeds grown up around it and it had at least one flat tire. The guy selling is sketchy - I called on a weekday and he explained he was hosting a bachelor party at his house around 7PM that night, but if I could get there by 6, we could drive the truck and check it out. When we got there, at 6, there was music playing inside the house and you could hear guys getting lively. I swear by looking at the place, they could have been cooking meth, but who knows. We swung a 3pt turn in the driveway and boogied out without even knocking on the door.

Sorry, but I would steer clear, just my $.02.
