At our last few meetings we have been talking through the idea of getting behind a local charity and this year we landed on the Auto Team which is an extension of Greater Impact . Greater Impact is a Bozeman based non-profit that helps folks in the valley who have a need. The Auto Team in particular helps people keep their cars on the road. They help a ton of people throughout the entire valley. They repair, fix, tune-up folks cars so they can keep on getting to work. They do this as a service, for free when people can't pay. They have a single bay garage near the Ford dealership and are currently working with the city to get a larger space (the city is stoked on how much they help the community). The Auto Team guys (and gals) are gear-heads, it is why we were attracted to them... 406 Cruisers are gear heads, so is the Auto Team! Last year they even ran the Gambler 500 as a fundraiser where folks pledged "by the mile" to help support the work they do. They currently have so many people needing services that they aren't taking any new applications until the first of the year, they do great work and are in high demand!

At our November meeting the Club decided to give 10% of what was brought in this year through membership dues, selling swag etc. So we are excited to give $120 to get us started.

If you would like to give Greater Impact's Auto Team here is link where we can chip in!

Link to give to Auto Team In the "Dedication Window" designate your gift to "Auto Team 406 Cruisers" that way we can make sure the funds get to the Auto Team and they can see that the 406 Cruisers is behind them!

I spoke with John the head of Greater Impact and he shared how they would use our gifts if we hit some certain amounts. If we raised/gave...

$500 they'd buy a torchless heat induction tool.
$1000 they'd buy a Oil Rack
$2,800 they'd buy an Autel MaxiSys MS 909 Code Reader.

Thanks for considering this! We're stoked to help a great local organization here in the valley. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Thanks!

If you would like to volunteer at the Auto Team they welcome that too! They meet on Tuesday nights too!

Drew:
Thanks for posting. I was afraid this had fallen through the cracks. Just donated.

How much did we raise?
