Hello all, I wanted to remind everyone that every November is our official month for voting on board members for 406 Cruisers. It’s easy to get distracted with all the great trail rides and auto projects we have each and every year. Fortunately, we have such a great community and club that brings us together. That is why it is important to have folks volunteer their time by being part of our board of directors. A big thanks to all of them, past and present, for making the club what it is today!
With a heavy heart, I have decided that this year is my last serving on the board and as the current President. I am not going any where and plan to still be part of the club, life is just calling my attention elsewhere. This was a hard decision, as I really have enjoyed the entire journey (especially the people).
Therefore, it is import to have a few other individuals step up and help fill any vacancies this year. As of right now, I don’t know of anyone else on the board that has positively said they are wanted to stepping down, so there is a very solid crew that will likely remain in place. Generally, this requires a few hours and meeting as a board once a month. It is a chance to influence details from what trails we will ride that year, to establishing motivating content for our monthly meetings. Really “put your hands behind the wheel”

Please begin thinking about whether this type of involvement resonates for you, or if you want to nudge another member into doing so. We will begin discussing candidates, and should nominate, any member at our October monthly meeting, and in November we will finalize the official vote.
