Guys, I think you all would appreciate. Had the opportunity to flex my rig and a mini on 40's over some clunkers. Just some technical eye candy...and the tech question would be:

How difficult is it to do a rear coilover conversion? I figure it just cutting out all the old tabs and perches, measure at ride height as per the desired up and down travel, weld in tabs (mount holes horizontal to axles), install springs to match weight and desired ride height. The reason I ask is because I and loosing my springs/having then sit wrong compression after being flexed (even with a restraint system) plus I have coilovers sitting here collecting dust.

Sounds like you pretty much got it. I'm doing coilovers front and rear on my 4Runner. Alot of **** to cut out though and to get the desired travel coilovers to fit I will have to cut holes in the body. Go for it.
 
I think I'm just going to cut out the floor and build a new one around the uptravel I want and the coilover placement
