More 40 sightings: :D

Route 1 in Madison, very clean stock biege late model 40, nice!

Route 1 in Clinton at McDonalds last week, red Chevota, another nice 40! (If you're wondering, that was a FJ25 at the drive-thru, not a Heep!) ;)

I just thought it was worth a mention. It had gotten to the point that I never expect to see a FJ40 on the road around here.:frown:

A guy about 5 minutes up the road from me has three or four. I see him driving his nice orange one on 35's almost every day.

Is that the orange one for sale on Craigslist?

There are a few junker ones in South Natick I see once in a while.

I saw "Wrench" yesterday driving through Medway. Does that count?? I was gonna beep but I look gay enough as it is......

Another 40 sighting in NK...

I took my daughter to Koch Eye over by Taylor rental for a check-up this afternoon in the 60. Pulled out onto 1 heading toward Wickford, kept heading straight and when I rounded a the corner by the school I see a bronze colored 40 sitting at the light up ahead waiting to turn left. He obviously caught me coming up behind him because he was giving me the thumbs up as I slowed up along side him. I had cars behind me so I kept rolling slow giving him the Cruiser wave as I went past. The turn lane gets the green and as he rolls past he's holding up his hand with five finger splayed out and I hear him say "5-speed" as he rolls past and on his way. Both my kids thought it was a cool 40. It was.

Ahhh, Crusier Love in New England.:clap:

that bronze 40 is a bj40 originally made for 'Crusher's wife up in British columbia he has the cruiser shop up there "crusher world" or something like that. it came to RI originally by a guy who was a cabinet maker and wanted the 40 to get him into the woods to tow a log spliter to harvest his own wood. but that was 5 years ago or so so I don't know if it is still the same owner or not. very nice 40 though

Hey Jason,
I would have loved to check that 40 out but we were both headed in different directions. Thanks for the info though. I wonder when/if there will be an RI Cruiser get together?

Btw, I saw a 60 last night. It was kinda dark but it was definitely parked in a gypsy camp. I didn't really feel comfortable stopping in.....oh wait....that was the movie I was watching last night.:bang: "Snatch". Third time I've seen the movie and I didn't catch it the first two times through.:hillbilly:
