Haven't seen you guys in a while! Hopefully we'll get together soon! (CMCC 07?)

Anyway, The 40 is going to the Outer Banks Saturday!!!

Yes.... the mystery truck some of you saw at CMCC last year WILL be making the 6 hour tour down 17 to OBX....

so.... if anyone sees a tan/flat black 1974 w/ 35's and a big red dot on the hood sitting on the side of the road w/o a windshield.... STOP AND SAY HI!!!

I will be down there as well, around mp13. We will be out on Oegon Inlet on Sat. I will be in my Pewter GMC and there should be a Pewter tundra with 5 inches and 305 under it with me, if not it will be a blue 4runner. Stop by and grab a cold one!

That's where I stay when I hit Hatteras, at the National campground in Buxton, just past the lighthouse. I usually fish the point and down.

We will be many miles away. If you are up near Corolla, then I will be bout 45 miles south on the Inlet. We are just going down for a quick weekend ( it is only about a 3 hr drive to where my buddy has his house at mp13). It looks like rain on Sunday so we may come back on Sun morning.
Like they say a day a the beach is better than a day at work. Rain at the beach has never stopped me from drinking a few cold ones.

By the way, "they" sure do say a lot and "they" know a lot of things!!

You really need to spend more time on the BBRC forum...you would know that my 40 was finished in time for GSMTR! There are even a few pictures out there to prove it isn't imaginary. I still have some minor issues to work out by Coal Miners, but overall it came together nicely - thanks to a lot of help from a lot of people in the final weeks.

Hope you had a safe and un-eventful trip to the OBX...even though those stories are not nearly as exciting as the "sheared the windshield hinges at 60 mph" ones. See you in a month or so.

was driving past while heading to the 4x4 access and saw what were NOT j**ps under tarps! MY friends in the 40 were unhappy with my sudden skidding stop and whipping arpund in the parking lot

also saw this poor 70-73? out in the *outback*..... where old cruisers go to die I guess...
