40 and 55 got new seats but need wiring help

Howdy the 55 got reseated with 01 pontiac grand am seats
and the 40 got some 98 explorer seats in it. now just need to know how to wire them, which wires would be + and which ones would be - there are just 2 wires, or can I just do trial and error but am worried about blowing the electric motors
boy are they comfy
ps I did try the "other rigs" tech but nothin yet

Just try it both ways. Momentarily reversing polarity on a DC motor won't hurt it. They run both ways.
