40/60/75/80 front bar compatibility?

My BJ74 LX is arriving from JPN in a few weeks and am investigating a front bar to replace that godawful PTO deck. Keeping the winch of course.

Going to chase down a second-hand TJM/ARB/ECB/other bar and install it, just trying to discover any known compatibilities between Landcruiser models.

Let the expertise flow..

The 7* series bar looks too small on a 60 ,so I imagine the 60 series bar would look too big on a 7*.

A 40 would probably be the closest in width but most 40 series bullbars are a bit dated looking and you would probably have to make some brackets.

IMO ,with the number of 7* series in oz,its just a matter of time before something you want falls into your lap that is a direct bolt up.

If you are going to chop the top off and cut a hole in the middle,there wont be much left. It might be easier to get something custom made.

Just hang out for a 70 series bar, they come up for sale reguarly used, I picked up a very good condition ARB deluxe bar for mine $500 a few years back.
