Hello I am working on putting my rig together. The harness is out of a 74 fj55 . There is a 4 pin connector under dash that I cannot identify its purpose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The chilton manual has the wiring diagram for your year/model. The color code is the first place to start. My copy is too beat up to read. Google could likely find an on line pic. Or you could and see if there a free down load one here

For my 72 I had the wiring diagram blown up to 2'x3'. I wrote part #'s tune and torque spec's on the back and had it laminated. Much easier to work with than a 8.5"x11"
