4.75" Backspacing?

Maybe I misunderstand your question, but isn't that reduction in backspacing the same as using the slee/spidertrax adapters? Lots of pictures/threads of that here.
I will be running 18x9 Methods with +24 offset which is equivalent to 6" of backspacing. I am also running 1.25" Slee Wheel Spacers which should bring my effective backspacing to 4.75". The tires (275/70/18) Duratracs will look fine from my preliminary measurements.
For your purpose 4.75" of BS will work just fine. You could even go a bit more aggressive if you wanted.

the slee spacers push your wheel 31.75mm (approx 32mm) away from the truck.. your method wheel is +24 ET or offset. the combination of your choice wheel will push you across the 0 offset and give you ultimately a (negative) -8 offset. Thats aggressive but i dont think 8mm is going to ruin your day. Ive seen 0 offset work fine .. cant wait to see what you come out with.
I love Method wheels. They are gonna look rad. Worst case scenario - you ditch the spacers or do some trimming and banging.

Thanks for the feedback guys. And yes, JC, that is exactly what I'm thinking, I know guys use spacers on the Rockwarrior wheels, but didn't know how common it was to use spacers with factory wheels. I really just wanted to check myself.
And its funny you guys mention methods, the whole purpose of this thread was because i found some method double standards with KM2s local for sale cheap.
