I've got a 98' 4runner with its engine on its last leg. I love that vehicle but I don't want to put another 5vz in it. I have been looking through forums and websites to gather as much info as I can but before I pull the trigger I am hoping a few of you could help me out.
1. What websites or companies, etc. should I use to find and purchase a 1kz-te?
2. What problems has anyone run into when going through this swap? ( fitment issues, etc. )
3. About how long has it taken or do you think it will take to complete this swap from start to finish? ( It will be me and another buddy doing this on weekends )
