Hi,I just bought a first owner non abused 99' 4Runner with the 3.4 and the 5 speed manual SR5 version. The car has 273000 miles but after checking and testing a dozen of these I have to admit that it drives a lot better then most of it's lower mileage siblings. It was always dealer maintained and never abused. The previuos owner had changed the suspension in 2009 with a Old Man Emu lift kit but did not know how much lift it was.Are there different OME kits for this car?If so how can I find out wich one was used?

Also I want to swap the 275 Michelin tyres out with some more agressive ones.I prefer a higher but als narrower tyre.....Any suggestions?

Grts

Measure from the fender to the lower lip of wheel. Find a stock ride somewhere and measure it. Car lot, mall, etc. The difference would be the lift.

Since all of these are at least 10 years old I dont think that this way is going to be reliable.Plus the fact that the 99 SR5 should be already a little bit higher then the rest.I will check under my car and see if the tags are still on the coils.I do not now if OME has different coils for the 3th gen 4RUNNER?
