After lots of tests per FSM, I just can't figure out my high idle... anyone know a 3FE/FJ62 expert in Columbia to check the timing / fuel pressure etc... I've already checked the TPS, IAC, throttle body, throttle cables, etc...

Can you make it to Trollhole's south of Greenville? That is about 1.5 hours but worth the trip.

Possibly... although it would be a full day to get up and back... does look like he has a nice shop and expertise...

3x on Troll.

As a former 62 owner wth high idle, have you adjusted the "golden screw"? It worked for me. If I recall, its on the top the throttle body. You may want to search the 60/62 section for "golden screw." (I like saying that!) May also have something in one of my ancient posts about it.

Yeah... 'golden screw' is all the way in (lowering idle as much as possible)...

Hi, Have you cleaned the throttle body , may take several cans of throttle body cleaner. Mike

Took it to Toyota in west Columbia... they couldn't figure it in 45 mins... said it could take hours to diagnose and that the 650 idle is in gear. Is this right? I thought it was neutral...
