As per the pump itself between the years, did the mountings change? Can I use the PS pump off a 3F-E for the 2F and especially vice versa?

3fe PS pump mounted to passanger side of block, fj60(and late fj40) bolts to the driverside, I don't think they will interchange. I think you could bolt a fj62 pump on the passangerside of a 2F, but you will have to move the Alt someplace.

I right now have only my 2F alternator where the 3F-E's is on bottom port side, and have noticed that though things are on the different sides, the ear width is the same and interchangable. Definetely want to add PS to the non-mobile 3FJ40
