How I wired mine you can see here, but you can wire it up however you want.

Entirely possible I'll be updating this in a couple weeks when the new iPhone comes out.

Removed the cigarette lighter from the dash, and came up with this contraption to keep it from loosening behind the dash and prevent any shorts

With my Pro Max sized iphone

All on ignition switched power, so it can't drain the car battery.

In terms of not 3d printed parts I used...

GAN charger

My intention is to combine this with the GROM wireless carplay adapter, to have all the modern car tech I care about.
