Guys,
I am in need of a little help, for what I believe is a great cause. I am a student at Triangle Krav Maga, and have been working with the owner over the past few months to develop a special knife that can be carried legally on your persons where a gun is not permitted, such as in a school or work environment . I know it is a bad idea to bring a knife to a gun fight but sometimes you are forced to work with the tools you can use. The training will be focused at teachers primarily but available for any one who wants to learn and will include one of these knives and a companion trainer, to practice the learned techniques. The knife is finished and is in the process of being made right now. Now here is where I need the help we need a sheath for it. We have a basic design but 3D CAD is a little out of my expertise and we are going to try and have these 3D printed. All of the work is being done locally and we would really like to keep it that way, so any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Also if any one still watches the news Triangle Krav Maga is the training facility that offered free concealed carry classes to any teachers in the triangle after what happened in Sandy Hook.
Thanks in advance.

I wish I knew your real name, as I play ultimate with Kim, Kenny, etc. Ask them to put you in touch with Kevin Putvin. He is a good consult for an idea like this. Tell Kenny to come out so I can throw around him. Next time you see Kim, yell "Strip"! She'll know what you mean...

You could probably find someone with a 3D scanner and make things much easier. A lot of plastics companies use the 3D scanner to scan the part directly in to CAD, then they can modify the part as needed and print a new one with the modifications.

Thanks for the help so far guys, and my name is Michael Martin, in response to the second post.

Its not exactly what your asking for but I know a local kydex worker. He makes incredible custom holsters and sheaths . really nice work. Let me know if its something you may consider.
